What Is Asbestos?
Asbestos is natural fibrous mineral that was commonly used as a building material during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, although any structure manufactured before the year 2000 may contain it.
What Does It Look Like?
Asbestos cement is just ordinary cement mixed with asbestos, which can make up over a third of the cement. It is a hard, grey material which was moulded and compressed to make roofing products.
Why Is It Dangerous?
Asbestos still kills around 5000 people each year. This is more than the number of people killed on the road. Around 20 people die each week as a result of past exposure to asbestos.

Our fully trained fitters will safely remove your old asbestos roof and safely dispose of it, we will then replace it with Zinc Galvanised Steel roofing sheets that come with a Plastisol coated exterior and also includes an Anti-Condensation Felt Membrane to the underside of the roofing sheet, that traps moisture and prevents it from dripping and causing damage to the contents below.
If you find you need a new garage, as with the garage roof removal, our fully trained fitters will safely remove your old garage and asbestos roof and safely dispose of it. We can then install a new garage for you.
